I started working on my “spooky” socks. I wanted to do something other than the ribbed sock but I didn’t want to do anything super complex. I was going to try the Jaywalker pattern but it intimidated me a little. I think I will save that pattern for my next project.
I ended up doing a pattern by Virginia Rose-Jeanes called Vanilla Latte. I picked this pattern because it was easy to remember and it showcases the stripes of the yarn instead of overpowering them with pattern. This is the yarn that I bought from Knit Picks (Felici self striping). I’m about an inch and a half from finishing the cuff. Someone is going to love these! 🙂
I also finished another dishcloth. I am going to do one more in red and then save them to give as a gift.
I think I may start a boot cuff that I’ve been wanting to make since last year. I may use the left over yarn that I have from the comfy socks. It is the perfect color!
I’m feeling a little guilty about not working on my Left Over Yarn Afghan. I’m going to try to work on it this week however, I’m not sure how much time I will have for knitting this week. We have a very busy weekend with birthday celebrations and we will be away for a few days.
I’m also working on the wedding invitations for my daughter. 🙂 Yay! The wedding planning is coming along great! I ordered a sign from Etsy which should arrive this weekend and I ordered part of the wedding favors for the guests.
Hope everyone has a great week! 🙂
