Almost Back to Normal….

What a crazy couple of weeks!  Between the wedding & Christmas, not much knitting has been happening.  Though, I was able to make a couple of these cute little guys!!

The pattern is called Owl Puffs by Jenna Krupar.  They were fun & very quick to knit up!  The only thing I did differently from the pattern was my row 1 was just a plain knit row.   It just made it easier to join in the round by doing one knit row.  I love these guys!  LOL  I plan on making a few more!!

I also made my baskets with all the dishcloths I had knitted!  I included a bar of organic handmade soap from Just Be Cosmetics  and a little hand sanitizer with the holder & a bottle of hand soap from Bath & Body Works.  I think the baskets came out adorable!  I hope everyone liked them!!

I also finished another Dapperly Dashing hat that had been requested last month and I have started another hat called Rib-A-Roni by Jane Tanner.  Hopefully it shouldn’t take me too long to finish.

But that is about it for the knitting!!

Santa was very good to me!  I got a lot of cute things for my knitting!!

These are from Slip Stitch Studios.  I love everything she has!  I think I’m going to go back and get the medium sized project bag as well.

I also got my blocking matts!!  yay!!!

Now onto the Wedding!!!…  It was awesome!!  The weather was great!  We couldn’t have asked for a better day!  The wedding was in Key West.  Temps were low 80’s during the day & mid 70’s at night!  The ceremony took place on the beach and it was just amazing!  Alexis (my daughter) looked totally beautiful!  And Danny was just completely handsome!  After the ceremony the bride & groom went around with the photographers to take pictures all around the island!  I can’t wait to see all the pictures!  From what I hear there are some amazing pictures!

The reception was held on a boat during sunset!  It was just amazing.  As we left the marina there were a couple of dolphins!!!  They were so cute!  It was like they stopped by to congratulate the happy couple!  LOL   Here are a few pictures:

The whole weekend was just a dream come true!  I’m so happy for them!  I’m sure my daughter will be blogging about all the crafts we did for the wedding & when she does I’ll either re-blog it here or paste the link.

What an amazing end to what started out as a very sad year for us!
